Permanent Place of Remembrance

The City of Highland Park is undertaking a trauma-informed planning process to create a permanent place of remembrance that will pay tribute to the memory of the seven victims of the Highland Park shooting, create a space(s) for reflection, remembrance, and solace, and honor the community’s resiliency.

The National Mass Violence Center’s Virtual Resiliency Center is an online centralized resource designed to assist people and communities who have experienced a mass violence incident. Learn about different social supports, wellness strategies, and guidance on the path forward.
